Once disposed to landfill, biodegradation is accelerated approximately 90%+ faster than conventional plastics, producing an organic matter (a natural fertiliser) and no microplastics. For further information click here. Home compostable everyday plastics, made with plant-based material. Certified in accordance with Australian/NZ home compostable standard AS5810. Also biodegrades in commercial composting facilities and landfill, into organic matter producing a natural fertiliser (and no microplastics). Cannot be recycled. - The bags are certified in accordance with Australian/NZ home compostable standard AS5810. *Please note: The certification does not cover the possible presence of toxic or non-compostable residues from use of this product; i.e. from the dog feces
- We do not recommend putting cat/ dog poop in a standard home compost bin
- Recommend checking with your local council if your kerbside green waste bin accepts cat and dog waste (most councils don't)
- Recommend disposing of pet waste in a home pet poop compost (if you have one) or general rubbish bin (landfill)
