Delizia Naturally is an Australian manufacturer of handmade soaps, bath and cosmetic products. Situated in Queanbeyan NSW, Delizia Naturally sources local ingredients and materials made from natural and repurposed ingredients, encouraging zero waste living.

Delizia Naturally aims to do its part in addressing environmental responsibility. CEO and founder Delizia says, “we are always searching for ways to be environmentally conscious and sustainable. From the manufacturing process to the storing and packaging of our products and reducing the businesses’ reliance on single-use plastics.”

“In 2021 I was on the hunt to find a local company, to source alternative single-use gloves, which I use when mixing soaps and moisturises for health and safety reasons and at the same time protecting hands from any chemical spills (Sodium Hydroxide). My criteria for the gloves:

  1. Australian owned
  2. Sanitary – germ-free and safe
  3. Chemically resistant
  4. Biodegradable

That’s when I came across Biogone and their landfill-biodegradable glove range. The Nitrile gloves were the answer to exactly what I needed. I could use them multiple times before disposing of them in the general rubbish bin, where they will biodegrade much faster than conventional nitrile gloves.”

“We would be a bit hypocritical if we said that we were a non-plastic, zero waste, green company but still used plastic gloves to make our products.”

“God knows there is enough plastic in the world that doesn’t decompose!” Said Delizia.

Delizia Naturally makes soap and cosmetics from grass-fed Tallow and fair-trade and organic coconut oil.

They also repurpose used cooking oil from local restaurants and cafes and make it into soap – something that also addresses environmental responsibility on a larger scale.
