Biogone bags perform just like standard ziplocks, but they don’t stick around in landfill for centuries. It’s a simple way to reduce your environmental footprint without changing how you prep, store, or serve food.

Yes. These bags are freezer-safe for most household and commercial applications. They’re suitable for freezing portions of fruit, veg, meat, or leftovers. Just ensure food is cooled before sealing.

No. The bags are completely neutral, no plastic odour, no flavour transfer, and food-safe certified. They won’t alter the taste or smell of what’s stored inside

While our zip lock bags can be washed, dried and reused over and over again, reuse should be considered with some guidelines.

After storing dry foods like pretzels and cookies or freezing fruits and vegetables, the bags are perfectly fine to reuse. However, if bags are worn, in poor condition, or have stored non-dry perishables like meat, fish, or eggs, the bags should no longer be reused.

The zippers on Biogones ziplock bags are airtight under typical atmospheric pressure variations.  Long term storage may experience some pressure equalization.

Biogone’s ziplock bags are washable with warm soapy water and left to air dry.  They are not to be cleaned in dishwashers or microwaves.
