Like traditional plastic, landfill-biodegradable plastic has no shelf life limitations, but when it is deposited in a landfill where there are microorganisms or plant-based biodegradable plastic is digested in a few years.
Our Biogone 36 litre bags will fit most kitchen and commercial waste bins. They’re 58cm wide by 70cm, 20 mic thick and come in rolls of 25 bags or cartons of 20 rolls. Our liners are made with 50 percent post industrial recycled plastic.
Deposited in landfill, Biogone kitchen bin liner bags decompose 95 per cent faster than bags that are not landfill-biodegradable. These bags can also be recycled in soft plastic disposal units located at most supermarkets in Australia because our additive doesn’t interfere with the recycling process. Our additive does not affect the recycling process.
